Pic Paint Taking over Camera

UPDATE: This has been fixed in the latest update of Pic Paint v1.99 on July 13

In our last app update we made a mistake.  Your Pic Paint app will “take over” your camera if your phone has a hardware camera button on the side.  This means that by pressing your camera button, our Pic Paint app will start up rather than your phone’s normal camera app.

Here is a fix:  In the preferences for Pic Paint select “Default Camera app”.  It will now be checked.  Go back to Pic Paint, leaving preferences.  Then go back to the preferences and deselect “Default Camera App”, unchecked.  This will fix the issue.

Our next app update will fix this issue for good.

Sorry!
